Hello, everyone. It is wonderful to meet you again at the English Worship Service at the Bukbu Church. As you know, our worship service starts on 2:00PM on Sunday. Please invite more friends, and get associated and let\’s worship together.
It is rainy outside. Temperature is lowered down. It becomes fall. But in this season, some big Typoon or heavy rainfall hit this area. As you may know, in New Orleans, it is located south of United States, because of Hurricane and destruction of bank, whole city was swept away and sunken in the water. So many people, could be counted 10,000 died, so many families lost their homes, and stealings and plunders are continuous… It is a chaos like the villages of last year\’ Tsunami victims. We have to pray for them. We have to find out the way to help them…
We have to pray also for people who does not know Jesus Christ. We have to help them, pray for them, and guide them to learn about our God and Teachings continuously. It is our Christians\’ responsibility as the Bible says. We have to be a light and salt in this world. Our God is our refuge, and of course for them also. Let\’s pray.
Heavenly Father. We want to thank You that You provide us such a beautiful church and English worship service at the Bukbu Church in Pohang. Through the service, we want to open our hearts, confess our sins, and sincerely share Your words together.
Last one week, we may committed various sins and crimes even unconsciously. Father, please forgive us. Please make us to understand and repent our mis-behaviors and unethical thinking. We want to reborn as a sincere Your children again today. As Your teaching says, we want to find ourselves in Jesus Christ.
Father, we want to pray for the people who are suffering from Hurricane disaster. Father, we do not know why such big catastrophe hit New Orleans. Father, take care of those citizens who were drowned and the sufferers who were injured and lost their homes and jobs… Father, we all together pray for them. Under Your great power and mercy, we really hope that the people and the governments in New Orleans regain power and reconstruct the ruins as soon as possible.
Father, we also want to pray for the people in the Middle East. We hope that these countries and regions become peaceful places without such hungers, killings, and hatred. We want to say and show to these people that the only way to overcome all the difficulties and falsehoods is just to focus on You, Jesus Christ.
Father, please make us so much like You. Our life want to be controlled by Your power. We hope Your energy is working on us. In a joy or sorrow, we want to glorify Your name in our life. We want to obtain our eternal lives by you.
Father, it is just beginning of our worship service, we want to thank you to send us preacher Eric Enlaw. We all want to learn Your teachings and receive plentiful benefits through the service. We prayed in the name of Jesus, A-men.
