Birds flying in lines…

   새들은 줄지어 날아가는데…

   Another morning with clear sky in November!  I just watched a group of birds flying in lines and describing parabolas.  They must be winter birds from Siberia.  They will stay at the lake nearby and will move to further south… For us, they are only one of the small objects indicating coming winter… They are geese and ducks!!!  However, it would be also true that they are living their lives faithfully even by their instincts… For us human beings, meaning of the days passing by?

   오늘도 맑은 11월의 아침.  난 하늘에 포물선을 이루며 줄지어 날아가는 새떼들을 보고 있단다.  이 새들은 분명 시베리아에서 날아오는 겨울새들이야.  이들은 가까운 호수에 잠시 머물곤 더 남쪽으로 날아갈 거야.  이들은 우리에게 오는 겨울을 알려주는 정도의 아주 미미한 것들일 뿐… 기러기며 오리떼일 뿐이니까.  하지만 생각해 봐.  이들은 본능에 의해서라도 자기들의 생을 아주 충실히 살아가고 있는거야.  우리 인간들은 지나가는 하루하루의 의미를 채 깨닫고 있지도 못하는데…
